About Me.

I can understand how frustrating it is not knowing what the next steps look like in terms of taking care of your health. It can get confusing with all of the next fad trends, or extremes that seem to be the norm for “healthy” individuals. I can also understand how being “healthy” still isn’t helping with feelings of anxiety, depression, or even feeling disconnected, whether that be with yourself, others, or your environment. Maybe you’ve only ever gotten a western perspective in terms of health and you're wanting a different perspective.

 

Well what if I told you I did the hard part of digging deep in eastern medicine so you didn’t have to? What if I told you I understand health in a holistic way and IT IS as sensible as you might think it might be?

 

This journey all started from wanting to understand why I felt the way I did. Why did I have to struggle with huge bouts of anxiety at any given moment? From inside the classroom all the way to chill social settings with friends, feelings of anxiety deterred me from showing up as myself. I hated feeling so disconnected from where I was and found myself wanting to “fix” myself. But as I started this self-exploration with yoga, I found myself realizing health and wellness is more than just taking care of the body. And it is more than just taking care solely of the mind. It is both of these and more to achieve a sense of comfort with yourself.

This anxiety led me to where I am today, as a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Aromatherapist, and certified Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, I have a perspective that is unique to the Mind Body and Spirit paradigm. I now see how all these different wellness modalities can target all the needs an individual has in order to maintain a healthy body, mind, and spirit. And I am here to now offer you a fresh perspective and tools that can give you confidence in terms of handling your own health. So you can tune into your body in the present moment and know exactly what it might be asking of you.

 

That being said, I love sharing my knowledge on health and wellness. I understand how hard it can be to take care of yourself; even with all this knowledge I can still be affected by things outside of my control. But it is the things I have control of that keep me grounded. This is made easier from what I do know, and I want to extend that to whomever needs it so that they can feel confident and feel like they can handle whatever life throws at them.

​Outside of this business, I am currently working part-time as an “auratherapist” where I get to make meaning of an individual's auras and their chakra levels based on a certain software used to capture this information of colors. I love the idea of “magic” and keeping it alive in my day to day life. This is as simple as acknowledging the divinity that shows up in other beings like trees, birds, plants, etc.  And on my most chillest of days, you can find me binge watching my favorite show, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with my favorite kitty-boy, Diablo (pictured above).
